Watching this has forced me to come up with rules for swimwear. I’m not sure why anyone hasn’t written rules like this before. It seems like rules like this are for the good of all mankind.
When choosing swimwear, please, for the love of all who have eyes, check to make sure your suit fits you and is appropriate for your body type. I have seen so many people, women and little girls, in particular, who have no business wearing a bikini. Your top should properly cover your "girls." We don’t want to see them hanging out, flapping in the wind with your underarm flab. And as for your bottoms, if they sag in any way in the back, they don’t fit. It, in fact, looks like you’re carrying a load in your pants. Ladies, there comes an age in your life where a swim-mini is appropriate. I appreciate that many of you have worked hard to have nice bodies, however, if your skin is sagging at all, and wrinkling anywhere, please cover it up. We don’t need to see that you’ve waxed, or worse, that you haven’t. This rule also includes the ban of Brazillian or G-string bottoms. Ladies, cover it up. Cellulite affects us all, including those who have to look at it! Parents, there are many adorable suits for kids of all sizes, please pick the appropriate style for your child’s body type. Sadly, the United States is known for obesity, and many of our kids are a part of that statistic. While I am all for teaching kids to be comfortable in their own skin and not to have self-image issues, I am also for teaching modesty. Covering your child’s body is good for everyone.
