San Luis Obispo County Commemorates California Wine Month

/ CNW / - September is California Wine Month and the community of San Luis Obispo County wines from more than 250 wineries and 36,000 acres vineyards are toasting to this proclamation by Governor Jerry Brown and County of San Luis Obispo supervisory board, led by the Wine Institute. San Luis Obispo County has four distinct areas viticulture American (AVA): Arroyo Grande, Edna Valley, Paso Robles and York Mountain by more than 50 varieties of wine in a variety of styles.These family businesses are inviting wine enthusiasts to join them in California Wine Month to celebrate the vibrant culture of wine in San Luis Obispo County.

A number of events and wine promotions are planned throughout San Luis Obispo County to celebrate the California Wine Month. The most notable of these is food destination and event wine, savor the sunset in 2011 Central Coast, to be held September 29 to October 2 in the community of San Luis Obispo County.This series of four days of events including the Market Square at the Main Event with over 200 wineries of the Central Coast winemaker dinners and one where you can enjoy the riches of the region and meet the personalities behind the product.
